Though Jose may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Salvador Ayala and Magdalena Vidaurri Ayala; and his son Homer Ayala. He is survived by: his wife Natividad Arredondo Ayala; and his daughters, Ana Maria Cavazos-Ayala and Maria Inez Ayala. He is also survived by four grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
