With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elena Mejia (Immokalee, Florida), who passed away on June 24, 2022 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Rafael Mejia and Maria G. Perez; her husband Elias Cardenas, Sr.; and her children, Guadalupe Turrubiatez, Adela Garza, Elias Cardenas, Jr., Yolanda Rodriguez, Gertrudis Gara, Maria Hernandez, Rosavra Cardenas, Abraham Cardenas, Jorge Cardenas and Jesus Cardenas. She was also cherished by 37 grandchildren and 67 great-grandchildren along with daughter and sons-in-law, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
