He is survived by: his parents, Efren Valdez Sr. and Rosario Arevalo Valdez; his wife Dawn Valdez; his children, Fabian Valdez, Chad Sutton (Camella), Chakei Chavies (Shyenne), Chakele Chavies and Brielle Espinosa; his siblings, Brenda Valdez, Deborah Valdez, Abram Valdez and Joshua Valdez; and his sister-in-law Corindi (Issah).
