He was predeceased by: his father Ronald Winters; and his brothers, Richard and Ronnie. He is survived by: his mother Carol Lewis; his children, Gaige Martin Winters, Brooke Marie Lynn Winters and Anna Rose Winters; his siblings, Eddie and Debbie; his grandson Jo'vanni Joel Winters; and his great grandchild Kristie Winters. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.
