Shirley Tanner Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 28, 2024, at the age of 82, Shirley Tanner of Hudson, Florida, born in Washington, District of Columbia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Hester and Martha Hardwick Gobbel; her daughter Phyllis Dean Bowman; and her husband Tanner. She is survived by: her son Charles Bowman (Sheila Harris Bowman) of Hudson, FL; her grandchildren, Tisa Pinkerton of Round Hill, VA, Kendall Sampson of Aldi, VA and Jack Bowman of Norfovia, CA; and her siblings, Jo Carol Counts and Harold "Buddy" Gobbel. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
