With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rebecca Jean Kovar of Hudson, Florida, who passed away on July 25, 2021 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, L. Murray Burns and Twila Kennedy Burns; and her brothers-in-law, John Kovar and Morgan Jones. She is survived by: her husband Leonard Kovar; her daughters, Erin Gump and Julie Kovar of Hudson, FL; her grandchildren, Ashley Arbogast, Anna Gump, Sarah Gump and Madison Guptail; her sisters, Kathy Burns of Nashville, TN, Nancy Kitko, Sherry Jones of Pittsburgh, PA and Brenda Fontaine; and her close friends, Cary Ferrence, Delilah, Piper and Peanut.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be made to any of these Florida institutions: Davita Bayonet Point Hudson Kidney Center, New Port Richey HDH (Hospice House), or Trinity Presbyterian Church of Seven Springs.
