It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Gerard Murphy of Hudson, Florida, who passed away on July 19, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Brainard and Mary Ida Murphy (Slavin); and his brother John Patrick Murphy of Medway, MA.. He is survived by: his siblings, Arlene Ann Betteridge (Russell) of Barre, MA, Kenneth Andrew Murphy (Patricia) of Hopedale, MA. and Lois Marie Murphy (Elena Murphy) of Norwalk, CT.; his sons, Shaun Murphy, Justin Murphy, Ryan Murphy and Mark Murphy; and his grandchildren, Liam, Quinn, Avery, Lily and Landon. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
