She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Manuel Diaz and Florentina Diaz; her husband Santos; her children, Juan Hernandez, Rueben Hernandez, Fabian Hernandez and Maria Carline; and her sisters, Maria Cano, Cuca Hernandez, Maria Aranda, Maria Felts, Rosa Diaz and Martha Chambers. She was also cherished by 21 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and many other extended family and friends.
