He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy D. Hester; his parents, Hal Lee Sr. and Marguerite Hester; and his siblings, Bob Hester and Bette Sartori.
He is survived by: his children, Craig Hester, Tim Hester (Deborah), Steve Hester (Danielle) and Karen Cain (Jack); his grandchildren, Ashley Sherwood, Ross, Matthew Cain, BreAnn, McKenna and Cole Hester; and his great grandchildren, Charlotte Sherwood and Eleanor Cain. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Hal also was involved in the Munster Rotary foundation where he received the Paul Harris Fellow award, A symbol of Rotary's commitment to world harmony.
