He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Hice and Walter Hice; his wife Margaret; his daughter Carib McCarley; his grandson Eddie Greenway; and his siblings, Francis, Dorothy, Jessie, Eugene and Walter.
He is survived by: his sons, Kevin Hice (Linda), Charles "Chet" Hice and Ray Hice (Barbara). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
