Carole L. Murphy Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carole L. Murphy in Hudson, Florida, who passed away on December 11, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, James Murphy and Louise Murphy; her sister Janet Gardner; her brother-in-law Charlie; her nieces and nephews, Susan, Pam, Michael, Jim, Chris and Andy; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Rebecca, Katie, Reese, David, Kyle, Thomas, Kevin and Gavin; and her nephew David Baysa.

First at the Japanese consulate in post-war Tokyo, then in New York as a grant administrator for the Ford Foundation. As a retiree, Carole volunteered thousands of hours working at the Bayonet Point Regional Medical Center and in her spare time donated financial resources to causes that benefited underprivileged and unwell children, police associations, animal support groups and a variety of health-related charities.
