He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph W. Chubb and Josephine L. Chubb (Taylor); and his sister Susan Chubb. He is survived by: his children, Christopher S. Chubb (Jodi) of Mechanicsburg and Tracy Lee Barrows (Brian) of Sterling, VA; his significant other Rebecca Anne Roberts of Hudson, FL; his brothers, Ralph Chubb of Mechanicsburg and Stephen Chubb of Richmond, VA; and his grandchildren, Ronald Dickey, Jr. and Amanda Jo Chubb.
