It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sandra Joan McLendon of Howey in the Hills, Florida, born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on June 28, 2023, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband John Clyde McLendon. She is survived by: her mother Janet Clark; her sister Wendy; her brother-in-law James Ross Jackson of Leesburg, Florida; her brother William "Bill"; her sister-in-law Kristen Shepler of Clermont, Florida; and her stepchildren, Kevin Ryan McLendon (Sarah) of Birmingham, Alabama and Shannon Blankenship (Andrew) of Birmingham. She is also survived by several grandchildren, nephews and nieces.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to the American Cancer Society.
