It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leona C Gardiner of Howey in the Hills, Florida, born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on September 2, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Christine Shobe and John E. Shobe Sr.; her significant other John G. Gardiner Sr.; her stepdaughter Kitty Oliver (Willis); her grandchildren, Ashlynn Andrews (Brandon) and Shane Taylor; her great grandchildren, Callie, Sophia Andrews and Ezra Taylor; her brothers, John E. Shobe Jr. and Lawrence E. Shobe; and her grandson Scott "Scottie" Michael Taylor Jr.. She was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
