He was predeceased by: his parents, John Watson and Emily Watson; and his sons, James Monroe Watson Jr., Jesse Malcom Watson and Larry Harding.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tracy Harding, Lawanda Castro, Jennifer Thomas, Lori Watkins and Laura Watson; and his siblings, David Watson, Skitter Watson, Tom Watson, Raymond King, Jr., Fannie Watson, Carla Lambert, Lisa Martin and Jackie Giaimo. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and other extended family.
