He is survived by: his children, Heather Matthis, Nikki Bowden, Kendra Thacker and Coen Hines; his mother Polly Hines; and his siblings, Jerry Hines, Anita Boyette, Naomi Rinsley and Amanda Canter. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, and other extended family.
