He was predeceased by: his parents, Steven Gergely and Wilma Gergely (Gorgy); and his siblings, Steve, Andy, Don, Shon, Grace, Ann and Wilma.
He is survived by: his children, Wally Jr. (Anni), Ginger Murphy (Tim), Lisa Doughman (Brian), Kristin Halloran and Jill Kreis (John). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
