He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Schmidt and Cecilia Schmidt. He is survived by: his sister Lorraine Slanina (John) of Brooksville; his niece Donna Ongley of Brooksville; his nephew Anthony Slanina; and his great-niece Reyanna Stills.
