He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Miller and Lillian Miller (Stadler); his wife Kathy Miller (Schmeisser); and his siblings, Marilyn, Henry, Eugene and Terrance.
He is survived by: his children, James Miller Jr. (Susan), Susan Anderson (Steven) and Kelly Lynn Marie Miller; his grandchildren, Erin Miller, James Miller III, Derrick Miller, Jeremiah Anderson Perez (Becca), Justin Anderson (Lesley), Jarrod Anderson (Kristin) and Jillian Lentz (Michael); his brother Michael Miller Jr.; and his siblings-in-law, Richard Schmeisser (Nancy), Robert Betz-Schmeisser (Jerry) and Linda Bee. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
