He was predeceased by: his parents, Huston Newsome and Viola Newsome. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Newsome of Homosassa, Florida; his children, Jerry Newsome (Brenda) of Bronson, Florida and Mery Worthington (Tom) of Crystal River, Florida; and also Joan Newsome of Webster, Florida.. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.
