It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Monica Smith (Homestead, Florida), born in Jamaica, New York, who passed away on April 21, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Schiebel and Mary Schiebel (Kennedy); and her siblings, Audrey Allen (Schiebel) and James Schiebel. She is survived by: her husband J. Edmund Smith; her children, James F. Smith (Regine), William T. Smith of Charlotte, VT and Mary C. Daniels (Justin Daniels) of Hinesburg, VT.; her sister Mary Bartel (Schiebel) of Middletown, NJ.; and her grandchildren, Maya, Greta, Grady and Margaret.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations be made to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Burlington Vermont in her name.
