It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Clyde Johnson (Homestead, Florida), who passed away on December 25, 2019, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Merritt and Mamie Monk; and her siblings, Alec Merritt, Lonell Hope, Leon Edward Merritt, Edna Sherk and Elizabeth Hamilton.
She is survived by: her children, Pat Knowles of Newberry, Chris Johnson of Alva and Sheila Johnson-Rohrer of Homestead, Florida.; her grandchildren, Magen Acuff (Johnson), Christopher Johnson, Savannah Rohrer, Sarah Johnson and Floyd Johnson; her great grandchildren, Damian, Devin Acuff, Dallas, Stormy Mae Haygood (Deceased) and Clyde Johnson; and her sister Ernestine Shackelford.
