He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Lorraine DeMayo; his daughters, Valentina DeMayo-Decosta and Darlene Passante; his son-in-law Kenneth Passante; his grandchildren, Stevie Hughes, Nicole Frost, Garrett Ward, Justin Ward, Jocelyn Klein and Brynn Ward; and his brothers, John DeMayo and Stanley DeMayo. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
