He is survived by: his wife Myra; his son George Butler III (Cathy) of Ponce Inlet; his grandchildren, George IV of Atlanta Georgia and Katie Butler of Atlanta Georgia; his sister Sallie Mitchell of Fernandina Beach; and his nieces, Katie Schmeider of Jacksonville and Gayle Campbell of Jacksonville.
