With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roy E. Counts Sr. of Homeland, Florida, born in Bartow, Florida, who passed away on September 24, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Adrian Counts and Cynthia Counts; his wife Linda Counts; and his siblings, Rosemary Deese, Patricia Case, James Michael Counts and Harry Counts.
He is survived by: his children, Karen Campbell of Malone, NY, Brenda Humphry (Trent) of Homeland, Dakota Counts, Roy Counts, Jr. (Teena Bartow), Noey Counts of Bartow, Byron Counts of Lake Wales and Darrell Counts of Lake Wales; and his brothers, Joseph Youngblood of Alturas and Charles "Dinky" Oliphant of Alturas. He is also survived by twenty-two Grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
