He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton Gassett and Faye Gassett; and his brother Lewis Kelly Gassett. He is survived by: his siblings, Eddy Gassett (Melissa) and Patricia Garcia; his nephews, Clifton Garcia (CJ), Joseph Garcia (Jo Jo), Chris Coots and Dustin Coots; his niece Candace Garcia; his great-nephew Waylon Garcia; and his close friends, Betty and Steve Crowell.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 13th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Whidden-McLean Funeral Home (650 E Main St, Bartow, FL 33830). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
