He is survived by: his daughter Pamela Lehman (Tyler); his grandsons, Jacob (Jaden), Joshua and James (Lauren); his brother Jimmy; his sister-in-law Pat Ates (Luther); his nephew Scottie Ates (Amanda); his niece Terri Jo Matthews (Larry); and the mother of his child Kathleen Register Ates. He is also survived by many loving cousins, friends, and other family members.
