He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyrus Albert Rice, Sr. and Ida May Rice (Holloway); his sister Ida Mae Nobles; and his sister-in-law Harriet Ginger Rice. He is survived by: his wife Mary Elon Rice (Hardy); his children, Cyrus Albert Rice, III (Bert), James Anthony Rice (Robbin) and Mary Rebecca Nation (Philip); his grandchildren, Matthew Rice (Tara), Andrew Nation and Rachel Jinright (Skylar); and his brother Joe Rice.
A graveside service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Pleasant Home Baptist Church Cemetery (8500 Pleasant Home Church Rd, Holt, FL 32564).
