He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Sheha and Florence of Cleveland, Ohio.; and his brothers, John, Joe and Carl (Bonnie Sheha).

He is survived by: his wife Margherita (Meg); his son Joshua; and his siblings, David Sheha (Sue Sabo), Virginia Daughety PhD and Julie Milcinovic. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
