He was predeceased by: his friend Shirley Blaine of Atlanta, GA.. He is survived by: his children, Joshua Katz of Fort Lauderdale, FL and Michelle Grey of Smyrna, GA; his grandchildren, Daniel Grey (Rachel) and Hailee Yarus (Seth); his daughter Teri Mancuso of Blacksburg, VA; his grandchildren, Hannah, Jessica and Nicholas; his child Tobi Cartmill of South Berwick, ME; his grandchildren, Mya, Samuel, Nev and Abram; his children, Zachary Katz of Astoria, NY and Lauren Cortes (late Gary); his grandsons, Jeffrey (Michelle) and Andrew (Hope); his daughter Bonnie Taylor (Dave) of Florence, OR; his grandchildren, Jeremiah (Kayla) and Courtney; and his siblings, Renee Levine of Encinitas, CA and Donald Katz (Phyllis) of Atlanta, GA.. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, five nieces and two nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Katz Chapel at Congregation Tifereth Israel (1354 E Broad St, Columbus, OH 43205). A shiva will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 5:30 PM.
In honor of Stanley's memory, contributions can be made to the Columbus Academy, Columbus Jewish Historical Society, or the Melton Center for Jewish Studies at The Ohio State University.
