She was predeceased by: her husband Russell H. Whitford; her parents, Denver and Dorothy Pruitt; her daughter-in-law Anne Winkler; and her stepgrandson Harry Winkler.
She is survived by: her children, Sheila Whitford and Arnold Whitford (Cindy); her grandchildren, Jon Whitford, Cassie De Paola (Mario), Jay Winkler (Capresa) and Tina Winkler; her great grandchildren, Jude De Paola, Mila De Paola, Cayle Winkler (Savannah), Meggan Winkler, Lucas Martinsen and Sophia Winkler; and her caregiver Donna Kelly. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Fred Hunter Funeral Home - Taft Street (6301 Taft St, Hollywood, FL 33024). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Hollywood Memorial Gardens - East (6301 Taft St, Hollywood, FL 33024).
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations to benefit mission work be made to Boulevard Bible Chapel for benefit of Dorle Smith, 6800 Pines Boulevard, Pembroke Pines, FL 33024.
