She was predeceased by: her parents, Session Pena and Nicolaza Landa. She is survived by: her children, Hector Contreras, Marianela Landa, Ramona Contreras (Hector Vilchez) and Gladys Contreras. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
