He is survived by: his children, Rodney Jackson Jr. (Kenyetta) and Shakina Jackson; his siblings, Curtis Jackson (Elaine), Laverne Jackson, Melanie Darling and Monica Jackson-Moore (Vincent); and his grandchildren, Ja'Kiyah Jackson, Ry'lah Jackson and Ty'Sean Mann. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
