Sullivan and Ruth Sullivan (Lamb); his children, Catherine Sullivan (Ruth) of Seattle, WA, Sandra Hall of Hollywood, FL, Joanne Sullivan (Arturo) of El Paso, TX, Elizabeth Preston of Mooresville, NC, Robert L. Sullivan (Larry) of Duluth, GA and William J. Sullivan of Snellville, GA.; and his siblings, William J. Sullivan of Richmond, VA, John Sullivan of Hamden, CT, Margaret Bentley (Polly) of Fort Lauderdale, FL and Esther Girard of Griswald, CT.. He was also cherished by six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
