She was predeceased by: her sons, Johnnie B. Hutchins (Mattie Mae Bell Hutchins) and Robert Joshuaway Smith, Jr.; her husband Robert J. Smith, Sr.; and her siblings, Paul Bell (U. S. Marine), Robert Hutchins, Frankie Mae Hutchins Womack, Willie Hutchins, James Hutchins and Eva Mae Hutchins.
She is survived by:, Sandra G. Smith, Pam Smith, Teresa M. Smith Morning, Connie F. Smith-Lindsey (Bryan Keith), Reginald K. Smith, Sr. (U. S. Marine), Craig J. Smith, Sr. and Darryl E. Smith, Sr.. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church (816 NW 1st Ave, Hallandale Beach, FL 33009). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
