With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melissa I Ali-Cassim (Hollywood, Florida), who passed away on December 14, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ione Ethel Caddle-Edwards and Clyde Banfield; and her brothers, Garret Caddle and Keith Cadogan. She is survived by: her husband Asar Ali-Cassim; her children, David Peltier, Ronnie Peltier and Khadija Ali-Cassim Gomez; her son-in-law Emilio Gomez; her grandchildren, Shamar Peltier, Roneesha Peltier, Kelly Isabella Gomez and Alia Melissa Gomez; and her siblings, Joel Caddle, Ursaline Ifil and Maryline Griffith. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
