With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Laurie H. Sands of Hollywood, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 17, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Roberts and Mabel Roberts; her siblings, John, Amanda, Thelma, Carl and May; her husband William Herbert Sands "Herbie"; her daughter Sandra (late Jim McMann); and her grandson Patrick Carter.
She is survived by: her sister Jeanette Carroll of Nassau Bahamas; her children, Peggy, Dolly (David Sugerman), Telly, Jane (Bill Werne), William H Sands Jr. "Bill" (Debbie) and Lisa (Johnny Sanchez); and her grandchildren, Jimmy McMann, Chris McMann, Stephanie McMann Mourning (Brian), Brian McMann, Kevin McMann, Danielle Prieto, Brielle Sands, Joey Larrinaga, Michele Larrinaga, Brett Werne, Brad Werne and Brent Werne. She is also survived by 26 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
