Keith Bryan Navarrette Obituary

Keith was born on August 4, 1986, to Cesar and Tecia Navarrette in Hollywood, FL. He was the first of 3 children. The first grandchild and nephew for our family.

Keith's life was full of wild adventures. He got his first skateboard when he was knee high and loved it. He went nowhere without his skateboard. He learned how to do tricks like the 360 Ollie heel flips and kick back flips. He learned to grind tricks on edges and grabbed his board for air tricks like a double grab. He loved racing down a ramp for tricks like the power Olli. It was amazing watching him on his wheels with the wind in his face. He loved all things nature too, especially reptiles. He was known as the catch and release reptile king. He would stop the car to save turtles, snakes, or whatever was in harm's way and made sure they found safety from the road. He was an expert on all thing's lizards and could catch anything. He passed his love of reptiles onto his many friends and little ones who looked up to him, turning his nephews, nieces, and cousins into tiny experts.

Keith is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Joseph DeRosa (Papa Joe), Maureen and Gene Fabre, and paternal great grandparents, Adolfo and Luz Freire. He is survived by his mother, Tecia DeRosa (John Coates), his father, Cesar Navarrette (Sonia), his sister, Jacqelyn Navarrette (Cesar Cruz) and their 6 children, and his sister Harley and her 4 children, his paternal grandparents, Felix and Rossy Dobosz, his maternal step-grandmother, Vanessa DeRosa (Grandma V), along with countless aunts, uncles, and cousins.

At 7:00 pm to be held at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, University Drive Chapel, 1600 N. University Drive, Pembroke Pines, Florida, 33024.
