He was predeceased by: his parents, John Cahill and Lorretta Cahill; and his wife Sally Cahill. He is survived by: his sons, Michael and Raymond; his siblings, Laverne and Charlie; his grandchildren, Kristen, Lisa, Nicole and Daniel; his great grandchildren, Evan and Abby; and his friend Gigi Cahill.
