In loving memory of Janet Petrie (Hollywood, Florida), born in Brooklyn, New York, who departed this world on December 18, 2024 at the age of 89. Janet leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her significant other Douglas Mcowen; her children, Stuart Luks (Jill), Richard Luks (Jill) and Amy Behr (Gordon); her grandchildren, Stacey Martin (Eric), Jenna Luks, Kevin Luks (Alexandra) and Adam Luks (Jeiran); and her great grandchildren, Blake, Kylie and Levi.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Beth David Memorial Gardens (3201 N 72nd Ave, Hollywood, FL 33024).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society in Janet's memory.
