He is survived by: his wife Carmel Vaval; his children, Jozy Smarth, Guerdie Smarth, Yvrose Smarth-Gilles (Jerry) and Evens Smarth; his stepchildren, Jean Alix Felix and Natacha Felix; his grandchildren, Tayina Gilles, Jada Smarth and Jarad Gilles; and his stepchild Myrtho Vaval Jerome.
