Elaine Luxenberg Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elaine Luxenberg (Hollywood, Florida), born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on December 16, 2023 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Morris and Anna; her husband Lynn H. Luxenberg; and her sisters, Lisa Singer and Rema Mandel.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Lynn and Michael Cohen. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Previous to the pandemic, Elaine was living near her son, Marc Luxenberg, in Los Angeles.
She was a teacher, ran her own nursery school, was a member of Hadassah, and for many years was a local leader of the U of M School of Medicine charity Friends for Life.
