He was predeceased by: his wife Denise Scanlon; his close friend Edward Scanlon, Sr. (Edna Pruitt); his mother Shirley Timmons; and his granddaughter Brianna Friend. He is survived by: his children, Walter Scanlon (Alyce), Edward Scanlon, III (Jill) and Jackie Lynn Friend; his grandchildren, Edward IV, Taylor, Colton, Makenzie, Cassandra, Halie, Justin and Kathleen; and his great grandchildren, Frejya and Silas. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
