He was predeceased by: his parents, Elvin Wilson and Dorothy Wilson (Reed); his stepson Dewitt Conover; his sister Leatrice; his brother-in-law H. Kenneth Wilkie; his brother Arnold Wilson; his nephew Gary Wilkie (Susan); and his great-niece Ashton Eva Wilkie.
He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Pam Studney (Mike), Doug Wilson (Joyce), Kenneth Wilkie (Nancy), Keith Wilkie (Joanne), Jon Wilson, David Wilkie (Eileen), Arn Wilson, Craig Wilkie (Tammy) and Helen Wilson-Zahorec (Christopher); and his cousin Pat Smith. He is also survived by several great nieces, nephews and cousins.
He enjoyed the year-round summer life and became good friends with Dan Sawtell who helped him for many years, especially during COVID.
