He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Curtis and Vera Curtis; his sister Mary Ann Rossi; his wife Henrietta Boughman; and his pet Molly.
He is survived by: his sons, Edward III, John and James; his grandchildren, Daniel (Sarah), Andrew and Grace; his great grandchildren, Zachary, Eliana and Owen; and his niece Kathy Alpren (Tom). He is also survived by several nephews, nieces and cousins.
