He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Manuel Evangelista and Mildred Louellen Poncé (Brown); his grandchildren, Erik, Wendy, Mya, Benito Jr., Jonathan, David, Ezmae and Alice; his siblings, Margie, Tony, Alex, Joseph, Jorge, Edward, Edelia and Luis; and his pets, Pookie, Molly, Dolly, Sissy, Astray, Jane, Tico, Sandy and Lucky. He was also cherished by six children and eight grandchildren.
