With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Thompson of Hollister, Florida, born in East Palatka, Florida, who passed away on August 21, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Calvin Thompson and Dollie Davis Thompson; his fiancée Barbara Brightwell of Hollister; his daughter Christel Thompson of Boston, MA; his brother Donald Thompson (Linda) of Hollister; and also, Brian Brightwell, Alex Brightwell (Kristina), Haven Brightwell, Alexis and Aiden Gavin.
