He was predeceased by: his son Harold K. Critchlaw III; his parents, Harold and Rose (Hoffman); his siblings, Donald and Dolores Jones; and his son-in-law William Lang.
He is survived by: his wife Eleanor E. (Glaeser); his daughter Holly Lang; his grandchildren, William A. Lang (Megan) of Bryan, K. L, Heidi B. Thrower (Mac) and Halicia Lang; and his sister-in-law Gerry Critchlaw. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
