He was predeceased by: his parents, John Smith and Beatrice Smith (Terry); his daughters, Robin Chervenko and Terri Boor; his grandson Christopher Pell; his stepdaughter Melody Candelario; and his sister Shirley Lahrman.
He is survived by: his sons, Donald "Chip" Smith, II and Mike Smith (Connie); his grandchildren, Heather Mitchell (Todd), Brooke Miller (Scott), Ashley Cook (Andy), Megan Manente (Nick), Kyle Morris (Katherine), Tyler Smith (Leon Aledo), Cody Smith and Allyson Gant (Cody); and his sisters, Dorothy Jones, Marjorie Jordan, Norma McCormick and Judy Evans (Steve). He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson.
