He is survived by: his former wife Patricia; his wife Carol Mangold (Carapella); his siblings-in-law, John Carapella, Diane Carapella and Theresa Maggipinto; his significant other Joseph Cianciulli; and also, Ruth Hillman, Bobby Engles and Deborah Cianciulli. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Saint Jude children's hospital (stjude.org) or Elizabeth Seton children's hospital (setonpediatric.org).
